In this workshop, we will talk about how to go about getting what's in your head onto the page — from hook to book.
Carol Goodman Kaufman writes in several completely different genres. In her previous life as a psychologist and criminologist, she studied and wrote about violence, but in 2009 she switched to chronicling food and its history, resulting in regular feature articles for the Worcester Telegram & Gazette and the Jewish press. Because she loves a good mystery, she began writing short stories, two of which appear in the recently published A Plot for Any Occasion (Potter's Field Publishing). Her first novel, also a mystery, will come out in 2023. And under the name Carolinda Goodman, she has published two picture books for children: Once in a Full Moon and Pirate Ships and Shooting Stars (both with Little Cottage Press).
You can find Carol on her website, blog, Facebook, and Twitter.
