
Winter is the perfect time for comforting soup using winter squash. Chef Vanessa will take you on a flavorful journey and demonstrate how to make a creamy Jamaican inspired winter squash soup with coconut milk & thyme croutons, with the addition of chicken. She will also prepare a vegetarian version.
Jamaican food has a history of bold and intense flavors prominent in their cuisine and there will be a discussion of the traditional spices and ingredients used in the country of Jamaica.
