Join us for an afternoon of fun, family-friendly, wintertime activities at the Downtown Worcester Winter Festival, presented by the Downtown Worcester Business Improvement District and Perrone Landscaping, on Saturday, February 18 from 1-3pm on the Worcester Common.
Weather Date: Saturday, February 25, 2023

Ice Skating
Lace up a pair of ice skates and take a spin on the Worcester Common Oval rink, brought to you by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.
The first 100 Downtown Worcester Winter Festival attendees who donate a canned good or non-perishable food item for Woo Fridge will skate for FREE and receive a hot chocolate and cookie courtesy of Brew on the Grid and Worcester Beer Garden!
Skate rental: $5 per person
Curling
Learn a new winter sport and enjoy a little healthy competition at our curling lane. This activity is free and open to all during the festival!
Ice Sculptures
Watch icy works of art take shape during live ice carving demonstrations. Ice sculptures only last as long as the weather allows, so don’t miss your chance to see these limited-time installations during the winter festival.
Art Activities
Creative Hub’s mobile art van will be there with free, hands-on arts and crafts for the whole family.
“Touch a Truck”
Kids (and grownups) can get up close and “touch a truck” thanks to our presenting sponsor Perrone Landscaping. They’re bringing along a cool machine for festival-goers to explore.
And More!
Meet some of your favorite Worcester team mascots, enjoy a snack from a local food truck, and lots more.
Festival Parking
You have lots of options when it comes to parking in Downtown Worcester, including on-street parking, parking garages, and parking lots conveniently located steps away from the Worcester Common.
Check out our list of resources for Getting Here and Parking.
Sponsors & Partners
