Speaker Catriona Standfield, Assistant Professor in Political Science at Worcester State University, will explore the fast-fashion industry and textile recycling, challenging us to think more critically about what we buy, where that product comes from, how it’s being made, where it goes once we're done using it, and sustainability and ethics in fashion. In conjunction with the Pretty Powerful exhibit.
Moderator: Charlotte A. Haller, PRETTY POWERFUL: 100 Years of Voting & Style Author, Historian, and Guest Curator. Charlotte is also the chair of the History of Political Science department at Worcester State University.
