Rocky Horror Picture Show with Shadowcasting by Teseracte Players

I would like, if I may, to take you on a strange journey.
Ever wonder what has kept crowds coming to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show for almost 50 years? Shadowcasting. Born out of audience participation, those attending in costume would get out of their seats and act out parts of the film in front of the movie screen. This organic expression of the film’s central theme (Don’t dream it, be it) evolved into full casts of actors performing along with the cult classic and interacting with audiences to create a unique experience with each viewing. Over time, the art of shadowcasting has grown, bringing this unparalleled style of entertainment to audiences world wide. Today, while the Rocky Horror Picture Show is still the most shadowcasted film, others (such as Grease, Repo! The Genetic Opera, The Princess Bride, and many more) have made their way into theaters to the delight of audiences.
Ready to see and experience a show? Come see the Teseracte Players of Boston performing their twist on this rite of passage that is sure to thrill, chill, and fulfill you!
General admission seating. Tickets are $25. $5 discount available for students and seniors.

Need Help Submitting an Event on Our Events Calendar?
- Go to the discovercentralma.org website and scroll to bottom of page
- To only enter events into the calendar and not become a Discover Central MA member, click Already a member? Login to your account
- Fill out the information in English to Create an Account and click Create Account
- You will then be directed to a page where you can post events
- Select Manage My Events to enter events into the calendar
- Click Create Event button
- Enter the name in English and dates of your event and select Create Event & Continue
- Add in all event details in English and an image that is under 690 pixels
- When finished, check the box that says Request addition to the Downtown Worcester Calendar
- Click Send to Review
All posted events will be subject to review by the Discover Central Massachusetts and Downtown Worcester Business Improvement District staff prior to approval. Please submit events at least two weeks in advance as it can take up to 7-9 days for your event to appear on our events calendar. Please review event guidelines HERE.
