Light Shines in the Dark: Alzheimer’s Reflection
November 6, 2022
4:00 pm
Wesley United Methodist Church
114 Main St, Worcester, MA 01608
We begin our season with a concert reflecting on the impact of Alzheimer’s in our lives, both personally and across our communities. This concert will focus on Michael John Trotta’s work for chorus and strings, Light Shines in the Dark, which uses a number of beautiful texts across eight movements in 30 minutes. We will balance this work with other pieces reflecting on the joy and challenges of being with family and friends who are experiencing this illness.
