“Unseen Works” showcases the work of New England-based artist Jonathan M. Larkin. Consisting of paintings, drawings, sculptures, prints, and poetry. Larkin’s work draws from a deep well of influences, both contemporary and historical, and utilizes a wide range of techniques to create a body of work that has been described as “without implied meaning, but exuding the unmistakable mark of sincere artistic expression.”
A member of The Jazz Robot Studios, an organization committed to aiding in the creation and education of art, Mr. Larkin will be giving a brief talk on his views regarding the current state of artistic development and the role of the artist in contemporary culture. The event will also feature the premiere of “Music for 31 Pianos”, performed by members of The Jazz Robot Studio. Tea and light snacks will be available for all.
