On Saturday, January 28th at 4 pm, 90.5 WICN Public Radio continues to honor the legacy of our legendary former General Manager and host, Brian Barlow, with the next edition of The Brian Barlow Concert Series.WICN Morning Vibe Time host and Production Manager, Michelle “Evil Gal” Willson, will take center stage with her band at Off The Rails in Downtown Worcester.
Michelle is a force of nature — an emotional ball of talent that inspires with her original songs but also takes you on a journey through what she calls “the lost music” of vintage soul/R&B legends like Dinah Washington, Ruth Brown, and Etta James. As she says, “They were all different, but the one thing they shared was intensity. And that’s what I’m trying to bring, too.”
* Doors Open at 3 pm; show starts at 4. There will be a cash bar. Floor seats and standing-room tickets are available.
**Off The Rails' restaurant will be open before and after the concert**
The Brian Barlow Concert Series is generously funded by The George F. and Sybil H. Fuller Foundation, The Fred Harris Daniels Foundation, The Stoddard Charitable Trust, and Westboro Toyota
