Award winners Christina Bouey (violin) and Max Levinson (piano) perform pieces composed around the stories of Greek Mythology. The recital features the New England premiere of "The Tempest Sonata" by Grammy nominated composer Joseph Summer, which was written as a companion piece to Szymanowski's "Myths". Bouey's own violin arrangement of Offenbach's "Orpheus In The Underworld’' is sure to delight CanCan lovers. This concert is a celebration of Bouey and Levinson's album, which will be released this season.
Thanks to the Worcester Arts Council, all tickets are free to the public.
