Artists often employ one or more of these approaches as a means of storytelling, protest and celebration.<\/p>\n<p>In this special <strong>Master Series lecture,&nbsp;Kimberly Juanita Brown,<\/strong> a specialist in visual culture studies, will address selected works in the exhibition and will share her thoughts on the stories they tell. After the lecture, Brown will be joined in the galleries by co-curator&nbsp;<strong>Nancy Burns<\/strong>&nbsp;for a tour of the exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>This Master Series event will be held on-site in WAM&#39;s conference room, with an option to view virtually via Zoom. Attendance is free for WAM Members, and $5 for non-members.
