A reputable poet and renowned educator, de la Paz is the author of several poetry collections, including <em>Requiem for the Orchard<\/em> (2010), <em>Furious Lullaby<\/em> (2007), and <em>The Boy in the Labyrinth <\/em>(2019).<\/p>\n<p>This free event welcomes the public to meet the Poets Laureate on the 1st floor of the Worcester Public Library at 3 Salem Street, Worcester MA. The ceremony will include readings by de la Paz, Youth Poet Laureate Adael Mejia, former Poet Laureate Juan Matos (2020-2022), and former Youth Poet Laureate Amina Mohammed. Additional speakers include Jason Homer (Executive Director of the Worcester Public Library) and Mayor Joseph M.
