SUMMARY:Club 321 featuring Aaron and the Lord\, with opener Evan Kenney
DESCRIPTION:Club 321 featuring Aaron and the Lord\nwith opener Evan Kenney \nThursday\, December 8\, 2022\nDoors: 6:15pm  |  Show: 7:00pm \nAges 21+ / Presented by Mechanics Hall & 90.5 FM WICN Public Radio \nAaron and the Lord is the new venture of Aaron Perrino (the voice of the Sheila Divine\, the short-lived but much-loved Boston band in the early 2000s) and Steven Lord (multi-instrumentalist of the soulful rock band Dirty Bangs).  For this Club 321\, Perrino and Lord will perform their vivid\, slicing indie-rock songs\, with nods back to the chiming guitars and stentorian vocals of the bands they grew up on and forward to a new kind of pop-rock future.  Learn more about Aaron and the Lord \nThe program will be opened by guitarist Evan Kenney. Born outside of Boston\, Kenney grew up with his dad’s soul and rock n’ roll records blasting in the house all day\, every day. At age 12\, he discovered skateboarding\, which helped him find and fall in love with punk rock. After years of fronting bands like Read Yellow\, Bodega Girls\, Thunderbloods\, Dirty Bangs\, and Labor Hex\, Kenney has created a solo album entitled “Trouble Boy.” With songs about love\, loss\, and everything in between\, “Trouble Boy” draws musical inspiration from everyone from Buck Owens to The Jesus and Mary Chain.\n  \nAbout Club 321\nClub 321 is a new partnership between the Mechanics Hall Modern Mechanics Guild and WICN to present contemporary sounds for adult audiences. \nTickets are $18 purchased in advance; $20 at the door. Ticket holders must be at least 21 years old. Seating will be at cabaret-style tables in Mechanics Hall’s elegant Washburn Hall\, with cash bar and light refreshments available for purchase. SUMMARY:Cara Brindisi: The Snow Globe Tour
DESCRIPTION:Fresh off season 22 of NBC's The Voice\, join Worcester's own\, Cara Brindisi for her last stop on The Snow Globe Tour. You may have seen Cara perform numerous times over the years at Mechanics Hall as direct support for local and national acts.  This holiday\, don't miss her headlining show in The Great Hall with special performances by other artists from The Voice!  The evening will include a mix of holiday tunes\, original songs\, her own renditions of her nationally televised performances\, and stories from the stage.\n  \nAbout Cara Brindisi:\nDescribed as 'perfect' by John Legend and 'hypnotic' by Blake Shelton\, Cara Brindisi is a vocalist with equal parts power and ease. After a decade of performances that include direct support for Chris Isaak\, Tower of Power\, Adam Lambert\, and Dispatch\, Cara brought her talents to The Voice stage season 22\, landing her a spot on Team Gwen. Gwen Stefani acknowledged the soothing and effortless quality to Cara's voice as well as her gift for story-telling. Cara has been writing\, recording\, and performing original music for the entirety of her career\, many of her songs inspired by her initial career as a Music Therapist. Her studies at Berklee College of Music led her to pursue this work\, predominantly with those at end of life in Hospice. Somewhere between these two careers\, the gentle and the glamour\, lies the authentic feeling one is guaranteed when listening to Cara Brindisi perform live in any type of setting.

SUMMARY:Get the Led Out
DESCRIPTION:Get The Led Out\, originally scheduled for Thursday\, November 10\, has been rescheduled for Thursday\, January 5\, 2023 at 7:30pm. Your current tickets are now valid for the new date. There is no need to obtain new tickets. If you are unable to attend the new date\, please contact the box office at 877.571.7469 to discuss your options. \n\nFrom the bombastic and epic\, to the folky and mystical\, Get The Led Out (GTLO) have\ncaptured the essence of the recorded music of Led Zeppelin and brought it to the concert stage.\nThe Philadelphia-based group consists of six veteran musicians intent on delivering Led\nZeppelin live\, like you’ve never heard before. Utilizing the multi-instrumentalists at their\ndisposal\, GTLO re-create the songs in all their depth and glory with the studio overdubs that\nZeppelin themselves never performed. When you hear three guitars on the album…GTLO\ndelivers three guitarists on stage. No wigs or fake English accents\, GTLO brings what the\naudience wants…a high energy Zeppelin concert with an honest\, heart-thumping intensity. \nA GTLO concert mimics the “light and shade” that are the embodiment of “The Mighty Zep.”\nWhether it’s the passion and fury with which they deliver the blues-soaked\, groove-driven rock\nanthems\, it’s their attention to detail and nuance that makes a Get The Led Out performance a\ntruly awe-inspiring event!
