Available space is on a first-come\, first serve-basis -attendees may bring their own blankets or chairs or use seating available on the Common. Refreshments can be purchased on-site\, or attendees can bring their own. \nEnglish closed captioning available for the Deaf and hard of hearing. \nDisney’s “Encanto” (2021) – PG; 99 minutes. \nDeep in the Colombian mountains\, the Madrigal family possesses an extraordinary secret. Each member of the family is able to perform magic. Yet at the heart of the family is 15-year-old Mirabel\, who does not seem to possess any unusual abilities. Faced with this harsh reality\, Mirabel struggles to reconcile her place within her family while searching for who she truly is.

Thus\, Peter approaches Doctor Strange to help him resolve the situation by performing a specific time-altering ritual. But that also bears some unintended and problematic consequences.

DESCRIPTION:Fun Fact: The 2022 Band consists of 90 students from 25 states! \nAbout the John Philip Sousa National High School Honor Band:\nThe John Philip Sousa National High School Honor Band was formed in 1981 and met biannually for over twenty years under the direction of Col. John R. Bourgeois\, former conductor of “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band of Washington\, D.C. The group met for many years in Washington\, D.C. and also in New Orleans\, Louisiana. It met most recently in Boston\, Massachusetts\, presenting a concert in historical Fanueil Hall under the director of Col. Jason Fettig\, the present conductor of the United States Marine Band. The members of the Board of Directors of the John Philip Sousa Foundation are pleased to be able to offer the event once again. Site Coordinators identify a street\, neighborhood\, garden or park to clean up and help coordinate with volunteers at that space. The REC will supply materials including bags\, gloves\, and protective eyewear\, coordinate trash pickup by DPW\, and provide additional support. \n Register as a volunteer: You can choose a site to clean up or we'll help to place you at a site that needs extra hands. \n Please email earthday@recworcester.org with any questions!
